Join The Bedford Garden Club on Thursday, April 16, 7:30 pm, for their April meeting when guest speaker Carole Usay, Horticultural Therapist, will discuss "Tips and Tools for Easier Gardening".
Carole, who practiced occupational therapy for 20 years, received her Horticultural Therapy Certificate from the Horticultural Therapy Institute in Denver in 2004. She has worked with Holden Arboretum, the Garden of McGregor Nursing Home, and Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital " Shaker Campus. Experienced in addressing master gardeners, therapists and local garden clubs, Carole earned her practical gardener certificate from Pittsburgh Civic Garden.
Her presentation concludes the meeting, held at Ellenwood Recreation Center, 124 Ellenwood Avenue, Bedford.
