Walton Hills -- Jonah Koslen, a former member of the Michael Stanley Band, will be featured at Walton Hills Community Day.

The festival will be Aug. 10 from 1 p.m. to dusk at T.G. Young Park on Dellwood Drive in Walton Hills.

Koslen, a singer/guitarist, will perform from 6 to 7 p.m. He was also a member of Breathless and plays Jimmy Buffett songs.

"Having Jonah Koslen perform will be a special treat," said Recreation Director Lisa Gagliano.

The weekend will get under way Aug. 9 at 9:30 a.m. with a village parade. It will begin at T.G. Young Park and proceed from Dellwood Drive to McClelland Drive, Alexander Road and Walton Road to Dellwood and back to the park.

The village parade is open to civic groups, clubs, sports teams and businesses.

Community Day gets under way at 1 p.m. with the opening ceremonies that include flag raising and bagpipes.

It will conclude at dusk with the village's annual fireworks show at the park.
