Three former employees of a treatment center for troubled teens have pleaded not guilty in the death of a 17-year-old girl who suffocated after being restrained face-down on the floor. Thirty-two-year-old Cynthia King of Warrensville Heights, 28-year-old Lazarita Menendez of Bedford Heights and 33-year-old Ebony Ray of Broadview Heights all denied charges of involuntary manslaughter and child-endangering Thursday in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court in Cleveland. Menendez also pleaded not guilty to felonious assault and inciting to violence. They women were fired from the Parmadale Family Services center in Parma after the December death of Faith Finley. Menendez's lawyer David Doughten declined comment. Messages seeking comment were left for attorneys representing King and Ray.
