HSON Welcomes Bedford Times-Register Columnist
The Historical Society of Olde Northfield will welcome Mr. John Straka, who will give a lecture on the area at the Nordonia Hills Library on August 26th at 7pm. Subject of the talk will be about the history of the area. Admission is free and open to the public.
John Straka, author of the column "The Way it Was" for the Nordonia Newsleader and the former Bedford Times-Register, and author of the book The Way It Was: Maple Heights, is a native of Northeastern Ohio and has been living in this area for over 90 years. The Historical Society welcomes his lively discussion of the history of this area. If you enjoy learning discussing the history of the area or if you actively read his column, then you'll definitely enjoy this event.
