Discuss mystery books


The Mystery Book Lovers discussion group is an informal group of adult mystery readers meeting the third Wednesday of each month. Our April book will be "Blue Screen" by Robert Parker on April 15 at 7 p.m.


Radio 'Daze' offered


Author and radio personality Mike Olszewski presents a look at some of the high times of Cleveland radio, along with a look at efforts to preserve its history, April 16 at 7 p.m. Sign up prior to the event.


Game Time returns


The library hosts a regular games "meet-up" each month, welcoming patrons who enjoy board games, cards, chess, role-playing, war games and collectible card games. We also have a number of games on hand for patrons to use.


The next meet-up will be April 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.


Get help
searching for jobs


Career coach Mary Jane Brigger will be available every Monday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to provide assistance, advice and information on the many facets of job searching. This includes resumé/cover letter preparation, posting resumés online, accessing the hidden job market and more.


Space is limited, so sign-up is suggested. The next session is April 20.


Page-Turners for
teens and parents


Teens ages 12 and older and their parents are welcome to join this discussion group. Explore issues relevant to today's teens and their parents April 20 at 7 p.m. "Dear Jo" by Christina Kilbourne is our book. The topics will include friendships, boyfriends, online dating and Internet predators. No sign-up is required.

Our evening book discussion group is an informal, eclectic group of adult readers, usually meeting the fourth Wednesday of each month. Our next discussion is April 22 at 7 p.m. We will discuss "The Screwtape Letters" by C. S. Lewis.


Our afternoon book discussion group is open to all adult readers. It meets the second Thursday of each month. Our next discussion is May 14 at 2 p.m. We will discuss "The Summerhouse" by Jude Devereux.


Make-it, Take-it


Students in grades three to five will meet the last Monday of each month at 4:30 p.m. The next session, April 27, will feature a look at National Poetry Month. We'll have crafts, games, stories, snacks and a whole lot more. Sign up in advance.


Gardening is for everyone


All ages are invited to come plant flowers, hear stories and much more on May 5 at 6:30 p.m. Please sign up in advance.


Calling all scrapppers


Attention avid scrapbookers. Looking for space to s-p-r-e-a-d o-u-t for the whole day?


Experienced and newbies alike are invited to this all-day crop May 9 from 10:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bring your gear, a lunch, and a friend. New faces are always welcome.

Do you like to talk about the books you read and enjoy? Then join us the second Monday of each month at 2 p.m. for reader-to-reader book discussions, fun and sharing with fellow fiction lovers.


Our May book, "Sleeping Arrangements" by Madeleine Wickham, will be discussed May 11 at 2 p.m.
