At the YMCA: Kid's Konnect Theater features moral and Biblical values

Kids Konnect Theater is a partnership of Nordonia Hills YMCA and Church of the Hills designed to promote excellence in the arts as well as modeling for children the highest morals through Biblical values. KKT will present a play performance titled, "Joseph from the Pit to the Palace: A Stomp Musical." The community is invited. Performances will be May 1 at 6:30 p.m. at the Nordonia Hills YMCA, and May 3 at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of the Hills Sunday Service at Nordonia Hills Middle School, 73 Leonard Avenue in Northfield Center.


Learn career/life skills


"Step to Hope" Module 101 is a partnership between the Nordonia Hills YMCA, Remington College and Church of the Hills. Four Saturday workshops will include instruction by qualified professionals on resume writing, job-skill assessment, interview techniques, health and wellness, and as the title indicates, a message of hope.


Sessions I and II will be May 2 and 9 at Nordonia Hills YMCA, and Sessions III and IV will be May 16 and 23 at Remington College Annex, 14801 Broadway Ave., in Cleveland.


Transportation is available from YMCA to Remington. Childcare is also available for children ages 3 (must be toilet trained) through 12. Childcare will be provided at the Nordonia Hills YMCA for all four sessions of


Module 101. All sessions are from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Module 101 of "Step to Hope" is FREE, but limited to 20 participants. To register, stop by the Nordonia Hills YMCA or call 330-467-8366. Registration ends April 24 at 5 p.m.


Kindergarten enrichment offered


Enriching your kindergartener with the knowledge to succeed -- come and join us for a fun, educational morning or afternoon to complement your child's kindergarten experience. Transportation and before/after school care are provided as part of program fees. Weekly program fees are $95 per child for YMCA Members and $110 per child for program members.
