Free community meal offered The Northfield Presbyterian Church, located at the southeast corner of Route 82 and Boyden Road in Northfield Center, will host a free community meal on Jan. 30. Food will be served at 5:30 p.m. The church offers a free meal on the last -- not necessarily the fourth -- Friday of each month. No reservations are needed. The next meal will be Feb. 27. St. Barnabas Parish is conducting an ongoing series called Catholics Returning Home on seven consecutive Wednesday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m. in Rectory Room 1 until Feb. 18. Catholics who have not attended mass regularly, but are seeking to deepen their faith and learn more about the church, are welcome to attend one or all sessions.
