Free dinner, show

The Twinsburg Church of Christ Puppeteers is presenting "Celebrating Jesus," a tribute to Christmas, on Dec. 21. The community is invited to watch the puppets sing, dance, and most importantly, to learn the meaning of Christmas.

Guests are invited to arrive prior to the show for a dinner of rigatoni, meatballs, salad, garlic bread, beverages and an array of desserts, including a birthday cake for Jesus. The dinner will be at 5 p.m. and the show will begin at 6 p.m. The church is at 1717 E. Aurora Road in Macedonia. To reserve tickets or for questions, call 330-468-3461. Call for tickets by Dec. 18.

Gospel House plans holiday gatherings

The Gospel House Church, 14707 Alexander Road, Walton Hills will present "An Old Fashioned Christmas" Dec. 19 to 21. There will be a live nativity scene, train villages, the Polar Express, the town of Bethlehem, Christmas tree displays, manger scene displays, hot cocoa and cookies.

Destiny plans first Christmas Eve service

Destiny Church is having its first Christmas Eve service Dec. 24 from 7 to 8 p.m. at R.B. Chamberlin Middle School, 10270 Ravenna Road, Twinsburg. The theme will be "Lights of the World." For details call 330-405-1993.

Hope presents Christmas program

Hope Community Church, 3033 Middleton Road, Hudson, will present its annual children's Christmas program "Bows of Holly." About 60 children ages 4 through those in the sixth grade will perform this modern day rendition of the celebration of Christmas. There will be music, drama and dance as they interpret how families search for the perfect Christmas. The presentation will be performed at 9:30 and 11 a.m. on Dec. 21. Everyone is welcome to attend.
