MARY B. TOTH * Formerly of Bedford

Funeral services were held November 8 at Jennings Center For Older Adults, Garfield
Hts.for Mary B, Toth (nec Bellar) formerly of Bedford who died November 4 at Jennings
Center For Older Adults at the age of 94.

Mrs- Toth was born in Bedford, OH. She was a homemaker,

She is survived by her son, Denis A.(Donna); daughter, Elaine(Joseph) Papis; five
grandchildren; two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, AJex
J.; seven brothers and two sisters.

Entombment was at All Saints Cemetery. The St. John Funeral Home of Bedford
handled the arrangements. Family suggested contributions to Jennings Center for Older
Adults.

JOHN A. GNODDIE (BEDFORD)

Funeral services were held Oct. 21 at St. Mary Church, Bedford for John A. Gnoddie of
Bedford who died October 17 at his residence at the age of 72,

Mr. Gnoddie was born in Bedford, OH. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He worked as a
facilities supervisor for Keithley Instruments. He was a member of the Valley Council K.
ofC.

He is survived by his wife, Maureen(nee O'DriscoIl); daughters, Michelle(friend-Gary
Hollo), Eileen (Steve) Barto, K-aren DeMeo and Laura; grandchildren, Sarah, Nicholas
Barto and Alexander Barto; dear friends, Tara Reynolds and Matthew Webb.

Burial was at Bedford Cemetery. The St. John Funeral Home of Bedford handled the
arrangements.

DONALD J. LEONHARDT (WALTON HILLS)

Funeral services were held October 23 at the St. John Funeral Home, Bedford for Donald
J- Leonhardt ofWalton Hills, who died October 18 at Walton Manor Nursing Home at
the age of 79.

Mr. Leonhardt was born in Cleveland, OH. He served in the U.S. Army during the
Korean War. He worked as a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry.

He is survived by his sons, Donald (Laurel) and Ricky (Stacy); grandchildren, Jacinda
Goldney, Justus Gruty, Seth Gruly, Chase Leonhardt, Autumn Leonhardt and Summer
Leonhardt; three great grandchildren; sisters, Marylou Dempsey, Peggy Ceccardi and
JeAnn Friend; brother, Richard Leonhardt. He was preceded in death by his wife, Johann
P. (nec Koenig); daughter, Jackie Gruly; brothers, Eugene and Joe Leonhardt; sister,
Dolly Dubics.

Burial was at All Saints Cemetery. The St. John Funeral Home of Bedford handled the
arrangements. Family suggested contributions to St. Mary church, 300 Union St.,
Bedford, OH 44146.

ANTHONY S. FACIANA ( FORMERLY OF BEDFORD)

Funeral services were held Oct. 20 at St Pius X Church, Bedford for Anthony S. Faciana
formerly of Bedford who died October 16 at Pleasant Lake Villa Nursing Home in Parma
at the age of 87.

Mr. Faciana was horn in Cleveland, OH. He worked as a salesman.

He is survived by his children, Sam(Linda), Michael(Joan), Dolores ( Dale) Lindauer,
Diane(William) Pureber, Timothy (Kathy) and Thomas; many grandchildren; sisters.
Angle Kaminsky and Rose Polcyn ; brothers, Phillip, Frank, Michael and Paul.. He wa.s
preceded in death by his wife, Camiella(nee Cantale);brothers, Sam, James and Joseph;

sister, Lillian.

Burial was at All Saints Cemetery. The St. John Funeral Home of Bedford handled the
arrangements.

CLARENCE J. ARTL (MAPLE HTS.)

Funeral services were held October 20 at St. Martin of Tours Church in Maple Hts. for
Clarence J- Arti of Maple Hts. who died October 15 at his residence at the age of 80.
He was cremated.

Mr. Arti was bom in Cleveland, OH. He served in the U.S. Army during WWIt. He
worked as an electrician and was 62 year member ofIBEW Local 38.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carmella (nee Lovano); children, Jeffrey,
Karen(Dean) Rossiter, Elena (Roy) Golsch and Patrick; grandchildren. Grace Arti. Sarah
Deioma and Amanda, Max and Emma Golsch.; brother, Russell Arti

Burial was at Bedford Cemetery. The St. John Funeral Home of Bedford handled the
arrangements. Family suggested contributions to St. Martin of Tours Church.

MARY A. HRACH (FORMERLY OF BEDFORD)

Funeral services were held October 13 at St. Pius X Church, Bedford for Mary A. Hrach
(nee Basa) formerly of Bedford who died October 8 at South Pointe Hospital in
Warrensville Hts. at the age of 93.

Mrs. Hrach was born in Braddock, PA. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Joseph) Cinadr, son, John W. (Sandra);

grandchildren, Patricia (Anthony) Lombard!, Deborah (Frank) Paden, Susan Cinadr,
Christopher (Kelly) Hrach and Kimberiy (Justin) Lynch; great grandchildren, Michael,
Meghan, Nathan, firm and Giovanna; sister-in-law, Helen Basa- She was preceded in
death by her husband, William J.; sisters, Anna Matuszak, Margaret Bizjak, Helen
Marlewski and Pauline Coleman; brother, Frank Basa.

Burial was at All Saints Cemetery. The St. John Funeral Home of Bedford handled the
arrangements-

JANET M. CERCEK (FORMERLY OF WALTON HILLS)

Funeral services were held October 13 at St .Mary Church, Bedford for Janet M- Cercek
(nee Solosi) formerly of Walton Hills who died October 9 at the Madison Health Care
Nursing Home in Madison, OH at the age of 77.

Mrs. Cercek was born in Madison, OH. She worked as register nurse at Huron Rd.
Hospital.

She is survived by her sons, Edward P., Timothy J. (Bemie Bodnar) and Thomas J.
(Carole); grandchildren, Kourtney, Patrick, James, Amy and Jonah; sister, Evelyn
Robinson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J.; brother, Frank Solosi.

Burial was at All Saints Cemetery. The St. John Funeral Home of Bedford handled the

EDWARD E. SURMAN (WALTON HILLS)

Funeral services were held Oct. 17 at St. Mary Church, Bedford for Edward E. Surman of
Walton Hills who died October 12 at UHHS Bedford Medical Center at the age of 95.

Mr. Sunnan was born in Cleveland, OH. He worked as a tool & die maker for the Alcoa
Co.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Margaret(nee Lavrencik); children, Gaie(Joseph)
Fouraker, Pamela (Douglas) Lightner and Gregory; grandchildren, Sarah(Michael)
Edmonston and Amy Fouraker, Renee and Stephen Lightner, and Nicole, Melissa and
Timothy Surman; sister, Mary Bell. He was preceded in death by his son, Edward Jr.;

sister, Lillian Fifer; brother, James.

Burial was at Calvary Cemetery. The St. John Funeral Home of Bedford handled the
arrangements.

ROBERT J. GROSSMAN (BEDFORD HTS.)

Funeral services were held November 10 at Holy Trinity Church in Bedford Hts- for
Robert J. Grossman of Bedford Hts. who died November 5 at the Firelands Regional
Medical Center in Sandusky at the age of 89.

Mr. Grossman was born in Cleveland, OH. He was a graduate of Benedictine High
School Class of 1937. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II. He worked as a
representative for the Social Security Administration. He was also a member of the Holy
Trinity Men's Club, Bedford Hts. 60 Plus Club and CAYOMAW.

He is survived by his wife, Ida(nee LaMantia); daughters, Roberta (Paul) Bandfield, Dr.
Patricia (Eric Shafer)Grossman and Dr. Julia A. (James R. Vargo) Grossman;

grandchildren, Elizabeth and Rebecca Shafer ; brother, Albert Grossman; many nieces
and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister. Bertha Radous; brothers, Frank and
John Grossman.

Burial was at Calvary Cemetery. The St. John Funeral Home of Bedford handled the
arrangements. Family suggested contributions to CYO Camp Christopher, 812 Binrta
St., Akron, OH 44307.
