Wagner, Leonard exchange vows in Pennsylvania

Julie Ann Wagner, daughter of Jerry and Janet Wagner of Jamestown, Pa., exchanged wedding vows with Michael Glen Leonard, son of Jerry and Ginger Leonard, of Bedford, June 28, 2008, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Andover, Ohio.

The Rev. Kevin McCaffrey handled the ceremony. The wedding colors were lilac and hunter green.

The bride was escorted by her uncle, William Wagner. She wore a satin A-line halter with a split front and beaded lace detailing, lace up back and chapel-length train. The dress was ivory with a champagne sash and champagne accents.

The bride's bouquet was ivory and lavender roses, purple lisianthus, ovescent bouquet and limonium statue as accent.

Jennifer Pier, sister of the bride from Jamestown, Pa., was matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Annette Riffe, a friend of the bride from Chelmsford, Mass.; Ursula Shacklock, a friend of the bride from Murfreesboro, Tenn.; Brenda Becker, a cousin of the bride from Greenville, Pa.; and Tammi Wagner, a cousin of the bride from Hadley, Pa.

Junior bridesmaid were Amanda Becker, cousin of the bride from Greenville, Pa. Flower girl was Gwenyth Pier, niece of the bride from Jamestown, Pa.

Co-best men were Scott Shriner, a friend of the groom from Akron, and Darren Walker, a friend of the groom from Rootstown.

Ushers were Joseph Wagner, a brother of the bride from Cleveland; Tyler Becker, cousin of the bride from Greenville, Pa.; and Tim Winter, cousin of the groom from Chicago.

Junior groomsman was Evan Parker, cousin of the groom from Auburn, Ohio. Ring bearer was Connor Wagner, nephew of the bride from Cleveland.

Grandparents of the groom are Mary Margaret Piscura of Twinsburg, and Lawrence and June Leonard of Columbus.

Grandmother of the bride is Gladys Wagner of Greenville, Pa.

Entertainment at the reception included the Irish band, County Mayo, of Youngstown. An evening reception was at the Days Inn Conference Center in Meadville, Pa.

The couple's honeymoon destination was Niagara Falls, Canada.

The bride graduated from Jamestown High School in Jamestown, Pa., Allegheny College in Meadville, Pa., and the University of Akron Law School. She is employed at Rotatori, Bender, Gragel, Stoper & Alexander Co., LPA, in Cleveland.

The groom graduated from Trinity High School in Garfield Heights and Bowling Green State University. He is employed as sports editor of the weekly division of Record Publishing Co. in Stow.

The couple resides in Akron.
