Waton Hills native and Trinity High School senior Scott Kocevar recently signed a letter of intent continue his academic and wrestling careers at Notre Dame College in South Euclid. Kocevar plans to major in accounting at Notre Dame. "I am looking forward to being a part of the program at Notre Dame," Kocevar said. "It will be great to meet new people and take the next step in my wrestling career." Kocevar has served as Trinity's captain the last two seasons and was 29-8 during his senior season, leading the team with 13 pins and 52 takedowns. He was a three-time district qualifier at Trinity and finished with 72 wins in his career. At Notre Dame, Kocevar will wrestle at 184 pounds. "Scott has grown so much while at Trinity," said Trinity wrestling coach Tony SanFilippo. "He has the mentality to succeed.
