VINCENT A. CIPRIAN

Veteran, former Bedford resident

Services were April 2 for Vincent A. Ciprian.

Mr. Ciprian, 77, formerly of Bedford, died March 30, 2008, at Windsor House Nursing Center in Champion, Ohio.

Mr. Ciprian was born in Streetsboro. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a typewriter repairman for Royal Typewriter.

He was the husband of the late Melanie, nee Truby; father of Myra (Robert) Hrudka; grandfather of Robert Vincent and Hunter Elizabeth; and brother of Rose Gizzo, Esther Ratkovich, Nicolina Boyer, Albert Ciprian and the late Carmella Ferrara, Eva Campana, Mary Gorge, Sam Ciprian and Anthony Ciprian.

Burial was at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg.

The family suggests contributions be made to Forget Me Not 4 Kids (Sarah Ciprian Foundation), 13921 Stoney Creek Drive, North Royalton 44133.

St. John Funeral Home in Bedford handled arrangements.

Maple Heights resident

Services were April 7 at St. Pius X Church in Bedford for Ann T. Freck, nee Zdila.

Mrs. Freck, 82, of Maple Heights, died April 3, 2008, at Southpointe Hospital in Warrensville Heights.

Mrs. Freck was born in Cleveland. She was a homemaker.

She was the wife of Joseph W., her husband of 61 years; mother of Joseph W. Jr. (Janice); grandmother of Joseph W. III (Bianca), Janel and Jessica; great-grandmother of Joseph, Sarah and Julianne; sister of Mary (late Martin) Kubik and Betty (late George) Vidischak; aunt of Diann Finn, Donna Babets and James Kubik.

Burial was at All Saints Cemetery.

The family suggests contributions to St. Pius X Church, 400 Center Road, Bedford 44146.

St. John Funeral Home of Bedford handled the arrangements.

Former Maple Heights resident

Services were April 10 at Mt. Alverna Chapel in Parma for Irene M. Gall, nee Uhrin.

Mrs. Gall, 88, formerly of Maple Heights, died April 6, 2008, at Mt. Alverna Village in Parma.

Mrs. Gall was born in Cleveland. She was a homemaker.

She was the wife of the late Steve; mother of Theresa (Richard) Misischia, Anita (Edward) Derby, Peter (Joan), Steve and John (Aggie); grandmother of Ric, Kevin, Nichole, Melissa, Stephanie, Jimmy, Joe, Kristen, Patrick, Deena, Jimmy, Alex and Angie; great-grandmother of 12; and sister of 11 late brothers and sisters.

Burial was at Calvary Cemetery.

The family suggests contributions to Mt. Alverna Village in Parma.

Former Walton Hills resident

Services were April 30 at St. Barnabas Church for Kevin C. Piskura.

Mr. Piskura, 24, formerly of Walton Hills, died April 24, 2008, at the University of Cincinnati Hospital.

Mr. Piskura was born Oct. 3, 1983, in Garfield Heights. He was employed as a medical technician.

He was the son of Charles and Mary Piskura; brother of Kathleen; nephew of Kathleen (Dennis) Lynch, Michael (Gayle McCormack) McGee, Andrew, Patricia (Raymone) Geschke, Thomas (Maureen), Kathleen (Tom) Sayers, Michael (Rebecca Bidinotto), James, Joseph (Thordu Haraldsson), Marcella McGee and the late Terrence (Sharon) McGee; cousin of Sean and Michael Lynch, Jack (Lindsey) and the late Ryan Sayers, Devon, Brittney and Jeremy McGee; and loyal friend of many.

Burial was at All Saints Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Benedictine High School or the St. Barnabas School Endowment Fund.

Services were April 5 at St. Martin of Tours Church for Eleanore H. Sabo, nee Gonda.

Mrs. Sabo, 80, of Maple Heights, died April 1, 2008, at Brentwood Health Care Center in Sagamore Hills.

Mrs. Sabo was born in Cleveland. She was a homemaker.

She was the wife of John, her husband of 58 years; mother of David (Cathy); grandmother of Melanie and Jennifer; sister of Raymond (Dolores), Louise (Richard) Cawley and the late Joseph (late Stella), Andrew, Matthew (late Betty), William (late Irene), Albert (Dorothy) and John (Margaret).

Burial was at All Saints Cemetery.

The family suggests contributions to Brentwood Health Care Center, 907 W. Aurora Road, Sagamore Hills 44067.
