ALLALEE DAY
Former Bedford resident
Services were April 11 at The Church in Aurora for AllaLee Day, nee Robinson.
Mrs. Day, 77, of Aurora, formerly of Bedford, died April 7, 2008, at South Pointe Hospital in Warrensville Heights.
Mrs. Day attended Ashland College. She was active in the Bedford Schools PTA and Bedford High School Band Boosters when her family lived in Bedford.
Her family moved in 1981 to Aurora where she was a member of The Church in Aurora and the Aurora Garden Club. She loved flowers, music and drama and made a point of supporting the arts.
She was the wife of Myron; mother of Laurel J. (Leo) LaPorte of Lansing, Mich., and Jeffrey Myron (Mary) Day of Northglenn, Colo.; grandmother of Audrey, Caleb and Victoria LaPorte, and Jonathan and Sarah Day; sister of Ruth Ellen Weston of Mt. Morris, Mich., Bruce (Judy) Robinson of Youngstown and Graden Robinson of Atlanta.; and the daughter of the late Loyd and Ruth Robinson, nee Mears.
Interment was at Aurora Cemetery in Aurora.
The family suggests contributions be made to the Day Family Fund at the Cleveland Foundation and The Church in Aurora.
Arrangements were handled by Johnson Romito Funeral Home of Bedford.
