Murder mystery, silent auction
planned for April 11
A murder mystery entitled "Murder at the Mardi Gras" will take place April 11 at Catered Elegance Party Center, 1160 Broadway Ave., Bedford. There will also be a silent auction.
All proceeds will help sponsor the 2008 Bedford High School After Prom.
Guests will enjoy a buffet style dinner with two entrees, vegetables, salad and desserts. They will engage in a murder mystery game, clue hunt and bid on a wide range of items in the silent auction. There will be live musical entertainment.
A welcome reception is at 6:30 p.m., the buffet dinner is at 7:30 p.m., the murder mystery is from 8 to 10 p.m., and auction winners and closing statements will be announced at 10:30 p.m.
Cost is $35 a person and $60 a couple. A table of 10 is $300 and includes a bottle of wine and prime eating.
