Kindergarten sign-up set

Children who will be age 5 on or before Aug. 1 are eligible to attend kindergarten in the Bedford City School District. This includes children who reside in the communities of Bedford, Bedford Heights, Oakwood and Walton Hills.

Bedford Schools' kindergarten program is an all-day, every-day program for all students for the entire school year.

Registration is by appointment only. Registration packets may be picked up at these locations beginning April 7:

Glendale Primary School, 400 W. Glendale Ave., Bedford.

Central Primary School, 799 Washington St., Bedford.

Southeast Branch Library, 70 Columbus Road, Bedford.

Jimmy Dimora Community Center, 5615 Perkins Road, Bedford Heights.

Bedford City School District Administration Center, 475 Northfield Rd., Bedford.

Please complete the entire registration packet before coming to the registration appointment, and remember to bring all of the appropriate documents to the registration appointment. A list of required documents is contained in the packet. Call 440-439-1500 to schedule your appointment.

Open house for 2008-2009 kindergarten students will be held on April 30 at both Central Primary School and Glendale Primary School (see addresses listed above).
