DeVore receives awards

Lori DeVore, president/CEO and chief strategist of DeVore Technologies in Bedford, was named one of the 2008 Top Ten Women Business Owners of Northeast Ohio by the National Association of Women Business Owners of Cleveland.

NAWBO chose DeVore to receive this award for her excellence as a woman business owner, her initiative and creativity, her professional accomplishments and contributions, and her civic and community involvement.

The award will be presented to DeVore and the other honorees at the 2008 Top Ten Women Business Owners of Northeast Ohio Awards ceremony at Landerhaven on April 17.

DeVore was also nominated for the 2008 YWCA Woman of Achievement award. Nominees are selected based on their professional demonstration of YWCA's mission of eliminating racism and empowering women.

DeVore Technologies, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, has been a provider of information technology solutions since 1991. DeVore offers a variety of technology services including information technology contract personnel, technical training and desktop training, Web design and hosting services, and custom application development.
