by Emily Canning-Dean Reporter One Democrat and one Republican will run unopposed for the Ohio Senate District 24 election in November. Democrat Emanuel Cotronakis has filed to run as well as Republican Thomas Patton. The seat is currently filled by Robert Spada, who cannot run for the seat again because of term limits. The primary election is March 4. Cotronakis, of Bay Village, is an attorney with Baker & Hostetler LLP. This is his first time to run for public office. Patton, of Strongsville, is currently the Ohio Representative for Congressional District 18. He is serving his third term and was previously a business consultant for Blue Technologies. District 24 represents parts of Cuyahoga County, including Oakwood and Walton Hills. Comments
