by Emily Canning-Dean Reporter Two Democrats and one Republican have filed to run for Ohio House District 8 in the March 4 primary election. Incumbent Armond Budish, a Democrat, has filed to run for his second term in office. Democrat Isaac Powell and Republican Jerry Powell also filed to run. Budish, of Beachwood, is an attorney. He was elected to District 8 in 2006. Isaac Powell was a custodian for the Orange School District for more than 30 years. He is also a past president of Ohio Association of State Public School Employees Local 561. District 8 represents parts of Cuyahoga County including Bedford and Bedford Heights.
