Here are some announcements from your Bedford Chamber of Commerce.

The Board has a few changes in it for the 2008 year. This year's Chamber officers are president, Chuck St. John of St. John Funeral Home; vice-president, Mike Guyer of Guyer Counseling; secretary, Joanne Reardon of Light of Hearts; and treasurer, Dale Witt of Hantz Tax and Business.

New Chamber board members are Scott Gongos of St. Peter Chanel High School; Gina Pierogostine of Remax/Haven Realty; and Mike Romito of Johnson Romito Funeral Home. Existing board members are Scott Shick of National City Bank; Lori Devore of Devore Technologies; and John Whittaker of Non-Ferrous Heat Treatment.

I am looking for some more companies to participate in our Member to Member Discounts. If you have been involved in this let me know if you are still giving the same discounts or if you have any changes.

I will be sending out a survey within the next few weeks to get any new ideas or suggestions for our Chamber to keep us moving ahead in 2008. Look for it and please take the time to complete it.

If you would be interested in putting your business card on our Web site this year please send the card to me via mail or e-mail. The cost will be $50 for 2008. It is another good way to advertise with the Chamber members and for anyone checking out our Web site throughout the year.

Membership dues have been mailed out for 2008. Thank you to all who have sent in your dues. If you haven't, please send them in as soon as possible.
