by Emily Canning-Dean Reporter Oakwood -- An Oakwood man accused of selling cocaine to undercover police detectives is awaiting indictment after he was charged with drug trafficking and possession of drugs Nov. 28. Detectives from the Southeast Area Law Enforcement Narcotics Task Force said they made purchases of cocaine from Douglas Littlejohn, 28, of Milbury Court in October. Detectives then obtained a warrant for Littlejohn's arrest and set up surveillance at his house Nov. 28. They followed Littlejohn when he left his house and pulled him over and arrested him in Bedford Heights. Littlejohn did not resist arrest, detectives said. SEALE detectives reported finding in his car a can that looked like it contained a chemical to fix flat tires, but with false bottom. Inside the canister they found 19 baggies of crack cocaine and nine baggies of powdered cocaine. Street value of the drugs is about $3,000, according to SEALE detectives. Littlejohn, who could not be reached for comment, was arrested and charged with drug trafficking and drug possession. Detectives said he has been released and is awaiting indictment. If convicted he could face up to five years in prison. E-mail: ecanning@recordpub.com Phone: 330-688-0088 ext. 3166 Comments
