Glenwillow -- Residents who are looking for a new doo for their prized locks, an extra touch of color to mask the incoming gray, a warm-seated massage to untangle those work-induced knots or a professional waxing to smooth out those stubbled areas now have an added choice of places to visit.

Willow Salon and Permanent Enhancement, 7373 Austin Powder Dr., Glenwillow, opened its chairs for consumer business Aug. 1.

According to owner Ann Price, the salon, which is open Monday through Saturday by appointment only, specializes in full service hair care as well as permanent cosmetics.

In appreciation of both customer and community support, an open house and customer appreciation day is planned Sept. 21 from 4 to 7 p.m., Price said.

She is inviting residents to "come meet us and let us show you around."

Price said there be a raffle, food, champagne and the opportunity to relax "with a 5-minute chair massage."

"We offer a relaxing atmosphere with wireless Internet for those clients who like to do business while keeping up with the latest trends," Price said.

For more information, contact the salon at 440-439-1340 or visit the Web site at www.willowsalonandspa.com.
