Bedford Heights The Heskett Middle School jazz band jammed in the school library April 20 with its rendition of Jimi Hendrix’s "Let Me Stand Next to Your Fire."
The band was rocking in honor of guest speaker Jaime Adoff, an author of young adult books. Adoff recently wrote "Jimi and Me," a book about a boy who coped with the death of his father by listening to the late rock star's music.
