Curcio, Shaffer unite with marriage vows

Dana Marie Curcio of Bedford, formerly of Stow, and Randy Lee Shaffer of Bedford, formerly of Mentor, announce their wedding on Sept. 16, 2006, at St. Gabriel Church in Mentor.

The bride is the daughter of Mary Good and Rich Curcio and the granddaughter of Sandra Good and Dianne and Richard Curcio.

The groom is the son of Nancy and Lee Shaffer.

The theme colors were black and champagne. The bride carried a white rose down the aisle to honor the memory of the bride's grandfather, Thomas Good.

The bride is a graduate of Stow-Munroe Falls High School and Kent State University. She is currently employed at Crain Communications in Akron.

The groom attended Mentor High School, Wright State University and Kent State University. He is employed at ROE Dental Lab in Garfield Heights.

Officiating the ceremony was Father Robert Stec. In attendance were maid of honor Robyn Gonzales, friend of the couple, bridesmaids Sarah Dowey, friend of the couple, Jennifer Murphy, cousin of the bride, Rosemary Reilman, friend of the couple, and Devan Willemsen, friend of the couple.

The best men were Ben Graves and Ryan Rittenhouse, both friends of the couple, and groomsmen Michael DeMarco, friend of the couple, Andrew Rome, friend of the couple, Scott Mendelson, friend of the couple, and ushers Josh Case and Dave Watson.

Readings were performed by Kelly and Steve Rudin, sister and brother-in-law of the groom.

The wedding reception took place at Silver Springs Lodge in Stow.

Mr. and Mrs. Shaffer honeymooned in the Amish Country area in Ohio.
