Bedford Heights presents business event

The city of Bedford Heights and Procurement Technical Assistance Center will present a program on how a business can diversify its client base by selling products and/or services to various government entities.

It will be Feb. 8 at 5 p.m. at Bedford Heights City Hall, 5661 Perkins Road, Bedford Heights. Dinner will be served. For more information or to register, call 440-786-3240.

Ballroom dancing scheduled for Feb. 3

The Bedford High School ballroom dance team will sponsor a ballroom dance on Feb. 3 from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Columbus Intermediate School main auditorium, 23600 Columbus Road, Bedford Heights.

A group lesson for beginner dancers will be held at 7 p.m. prior to general dancing, which begins at 7:30 p.m. Dance demonstrations will be held when available. Refreshments will be available for purchase. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for students. Call 216-409-9656 for more information.

USO collecting items for troops

The USO of Northern Ohio is collecting items to fill care packages to be shipped to local service men and women deployed overseas.
